Symons K_Twin Rod Deck Screen

Designed for ultra-high capacity service, available in sizes up to 6' x 12'. Extra tonnages are easily handled by the incredibly powerful vibrating action coming from two K Vibrators in-line with each other. They are mounted directly to the sides of the unit. The six foot wide feed opening is divided right down the middle by a steel plate, so that all the incoming material has a better chance of being evenly distributed over the screening surface.

For the heaviest of heavy duty mining and aggregate applications.

To provide the positive powerful vibration necessary for large screens and big tonnages, two Symons K Vibrators, coupled together are used in each machine. A common center deck construction provides rigid support to the screening surface. Shock resistant rubber mounts enable these heavy-duty units to handle large material normally requiring a double deck screen of conventional design. A full-width feed opening with divider provides distribution of the incoming feed to utilize all of the screening area over the full width of the screening surface.

Individual rods or sections are easily replaced without removing the remainder of the screening surface.	The 7" long slotted openings provide an unusually large percentage of open areas.	The use of smooth, strong, parallel spring steel rods held in molded rubber spacers provides the ultimate in a long life, abrasion resistant screening surface.	Two flange-mounted electric motors bolted directly to the screen base. The direct drive feature eliminates the need for V-belts and sheaves.	Can be furnished with removable dust covers to provide dust free operation. These covers provide easy access to the screening surface and drive mechanisms.
